A NURSERY'S Christmas fair raised hundreds of pounds for a Reigate fundraising campaign.
The event hosted by Daisy Chain Montessori Nursery on November 29 was held at St Luke's Hall in New North Road, South Park.
Passionate fundraisers went the extra mile to raise money for Hope for Isaac, a campaign which is trying to raise money for an operation which could enable 19-month-old Isaac Manzoor to walk. Isaac has spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy, which seriously impairs his muscle co-ordination, and often leaves him in pain.
His mum, Louise Elliot, is trying to raise between £40,000 and £60,000 for the operation, which is only available in America. On offer to families was craft making, face-painting, pin the tail on Rudolph and Santa's Grotto. Even Mickey and Minnie Mouse turned up to raise money for little Isaac, helping to reach a total of £753 on the day.
