PERVERT doctor Lam Yeoh has today begun a five-year jail term for secretly filming patients in hospital toilets.
Metropolitan Police Service said his three-year campaign of voyeurism, in which more than 1000 patients, colleagues, friends and children, were filmed was on a scale "beyond any" detectives had previously encountered.
The Banstead doctor was arrested after a camera he hid in a hospital toilet was discovered by a female colleague.
The footage showed Yeoh, 62, inadvertently filming himself. Watch the clip here:
Detective Inspector Ress said: "In carrying out his well organised campaign of making voyeuristic images of both adults and children, Dr Yeoh abused his position of trust for his own sexual gratification.
"With images of people filmed in consultations and in lavatories, his footage is truly appalling and has had a detrimental impact on everyone we have spoken to who has come into contact with him.
"I believe Yeoh may be one of the most prolific, offenders of this nature, investigated by the MPS or any other police force in the country."
