BOXING: Redhill boxer Ben Davies says he is "very confident" ahead of Saturday's title fight with Tom Dolan, insisting training "couldn't have gone better".
The White Dog Boxing Gym fighter will compete for the vacant Queensbury Boxing League's regional title at Epsom Downs Racecourse this Saturday night.
And Davies, who fights as a middleweight, is so happy with his preparation he is taking it easy in the days before the bout.
"All the hard work is done now, it's just doing a little bit here and there ahead of the weigh in on Saturday morning," the 24-year-old said.
"My training has gone brilliantly. I'm feeling good and everything has gone to plan.
"I'm just looking forward to the fight now and hoping I can do all the people who have helped me train and everyone who will be there to support me on the night proud."
