A man died this morning after being hit by a train at Horley station.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "Officers attended the incident, at 8.23am, alongside colleagues from Surrey Police.
"Paramedics from the South Coast Ambulance Service also attended, and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
"Officers are now working to investigate the full circumstances of the incident and inform the man's family."
Passengers are likely to suffer some delays and disruption until mid-morning
