JOHN FOWLER believes there will be "no stopping" Whyteleafe should they pick up six points from their next two games.
Leafe are on an unbelievable run which has seen them win their last eight consecutive Southern Counties East League games, but Fowler believes further triumphs against Beckenham Town on Thursday and Phoenix Sports on Saturday would set the Church Road side on the road to the league title.
"Phoenix Sports are a decent side but I think it's really between us, Tunbridge Wells and Ashford United for the title now," he said.
"The players will be up for the Phoenix games after they beat us in the cup earlier in the season, that hurt them. That will be their motivation.
"We have a full strength team, the only injury is Bentley Graham, who broke his hand in training after falling awkwardly.
"If we can get maximum points from these next two fixtures then I think there will be no stopping us."
On a winning run which stretches back to November, and having beaten Lordswood 7-0 on Saturday, there is a danger of complacency but Fowler is not concerned.
"We're hoping to get the Beckenham game played on Thursday," Fowler said. "The only positive after the original fixture was postponed on Tuesday was that Ashford's game was postponed too.
"We're hoping if we get a result on Thursday that will open up a bit of a gap.
"I know there is the danger on complacency now we're top, but it took a long time coming for us to get there, so if the players can't get motivated to ensure we stay there then they shouldn't really be playing football."
