BANSTEAD'S Lionel Blair defended the senior members of the Celebrity Big Brother house, drawing himself into conflict with Apprentice runner-up Luisa Zissman.
When Blue star Lee Ryan and model Casey Batchelor returned to the house following a stint in a secret bolthole, Luisa greeted the 'naughty ones' back saying "everyone else is perfect, everyone else is old."
But entertainment legend Lionel refused to take the remark, retorting: "You meant that, that's the terrible thing, you mean that."
He added: "Be honest. You said I'm glad the young ones are back because it feels like I live in an old pensioners' home."
Linda Nolan and Jim Davidson tried to calm the situation as mum-of-one Luisa burst into tears.
But the two reconciled in the end and Lionel embraced a teary Luisa as she said: "I didn't mean to upset you."
On Friday, former boxing champion Evander Holyfield became the first person evicted from the show.
