FORMER Warlingham rugby player Chris Robshaw will retain the England captaincy heading into the Six Nations.
There had been speculation the Harlequins flanker could lose both the captaincy and his place in the side ahead of the tournament which begins on February 1.
Questions over Robshaw's place arose after he was heart-breakingly omitted from the Lions tour last summer and then was rested for England's tour of Argentina in the summer.
But coach Stuart Lancaster praised his hard work and step-up in leadership as he confirmed Robshaw will lead England into the competition.
