A CRANE is currently working to remove a huge fallen conifer from a home in Earlswood.
The giant tree leaning on the house became one of the enduring images of the storms in East Surrey with residents and Twitter users trying to find out where it was.
Today photos have emerged of the ongoing efforts to remove the tree with some residents suggesting the crane is struggling to remove the conifer.
Raven Housing Trust has confirmed it has organised the removal of the tree.
Messages on the Trust's official Twitter account said the resident of the house had been told the tree was her responsibility but the firm had decided to remove it due to the nature of the risk.
