AN OAK tree has fallen across a road in Hurst Green, causing traffic de-tours.
The tree is blocking Woodhurst Lane and the community have been diverting traffic away from the area.
Terry Turner, 78, of Gibbs Brook Road, has taken on the role while they wait for police.
He said: "I am just thankful that it did not hurt anyone."
Motorists are asked to avoid the area until the tree is cleared away.
