THE Jolly Farmers pub in Buckland, near Reigate, was evacuated this lunchtime when fire broke out in the floor above.
Around 20 people had already left the building when fire crews from Reigate and Dorking arrived at the pub, on the A25, at around 2pm.
No-one was hurt and crews had extinguished the blaze within an hour.
The fire broke out in a tumble drier and left the first floor flat above the pub heavily smoke logged.
