OFFICERS have released an e-fit image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with several handbag thefts across Mole Valley.
The thefts have taken place when the offender spotted a handbag on the seat of the vehicle and opened the door, usually when the victim is still in the car and either stopped or is moving at low speed.
The offences happened at the end of February and at the beginning of March and happened in Fetcham, Dorking, North Holmwood, Ashtead and Bookham.
The incidents all took place between 5pm and 9pm and the victims have included women aged between 18 and 74-years-old.
