BURST water mains are causing 20 minute delays in Reigate this morning.
Sutton and East Surrey Water said two mains have burst in Dovers Green Road, affecting homes around Woodhatch Road, Cronks Hill Road, Mead Vale Pendleton Road and Dovers Hill Road.
A spokesman for the water provider said: "It may cause poor pressure, a total loss of supply, or discolouration of the water supply.
"If the water supply is discoloured, we recommend that you avoid using it during this incident. Remedial works are already in hand and we anticipate that supplies will return to normal later today.
"If you have an emergency, we have set a special emergency helpline for use only during this incident. The number is 01737 763376.
"We apologise for any inconvenience that this incident may have caused."
