FORMER Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman has been named Nottingham Forest boss, following the sacking of Stuart Pearce.
The former England international was dismissed this evening (Sunday), with former Forest player Freedman appointed as his successor shortly afterwards.
Freedman, who managed Palace in the Championship, has been out of work since leaving Bolton Wanderers last year by mutual consent.
