CRYSTAL Palace have signed left-back Pape Souare from Lille subject to a work permit.
The Senegal international joins the Eagles for an undisclosed fee on a three and a half year contract.
The 24-year-old travelled to London straight from the Africa Cup of Nations and will join up with his new team-mates early next week.
Souare is a product of Lille's academy and made 55 league appearances for them, helping them win a league and cup double in 2010/11 and featuring for the club in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League in recent seasons.
The left-back has won five caps for Senegal, including two in this month's Africa Cup of Nations competition in Equatorial Guinea.
