RESIDENTS of two flats in Reigate have been forced to leave their homes on Boxing Day after they were flooded.
Reigate firefighters attended Fir Tree Walk at around noon today (Friday) after taps left on in a flat flooded the two homes below it.
An 85-year-old man was one of the people who has been put up in temporary accommodation tonight.
A firefighter told the Mirror crews attended to switch off the power and ensure it was safe.
Volunteers from the Red Cross emergency support unit also attended the scene to organise the temporary accommodation.
