A TASTY treat has been enjoyed by an Oxted-based charity.
Unique, the rare chromosome disorder support group, has received a £300 donation from the Galaxy Hot Chocolate Fund.
Unique is a small children's charity, supporting families affected by the disorders.
Each year at least one in 200 babies are born with a chromosome disorder, with many severely disabled, sometimes leaving them unable to walk or talk, placing a huge burden on their families.
Caroline Pocock from the group said: "Receiving a diagnosis that your child has a chromosome disorder can be a painful and overwhelming experience.
"As the UK's only charity working in this area, talking to someone can really help.
"This donation can help fund the Unique helpline, a listening ear telephone and e-mail service."
The number is 0808 808 3555.
