ASHLEY NADESAN was "untouchable" against Frimley Green, according to Horley Town boss Anthony Jupp. The striker scored four of Horley's five goals as they beat Frimley Green 5-4 in the Combined Counties League on Saturday, and Jupp admits the opposition took to fouling the pacy youngster as they struggled to keep up with him. "Ashley just ran rings around them; he was untouchable," Jupp said. "On Saturday they must have fouled him ten times just because they were getting frustrated. "He's worked very hard in training and he has got himself fit but he still needs to work on his strength because he's quite a slim lad. "But on his day, Ashley is more than good enough to step up a level but he does need to get physically stronger. "He's only done bits of a season here and there so the idea is to get a whole season under his belt at Horley and then see, but I think he's already scored something like 28 goals for us this season." Horley's next game is not until January 3 when they travel to Spelthorne and so Jupp was delighted to finish 2014 with another three points, but admits he wasn't impressed with Frimley Green's physical approach. "It was a close game and while I'm sure it was great for the neutral, I can't say I enjoyed it," he said. "I'm glad we won because otherwise I'd sound as if I had sour grapes but I actually went and spoke to the referee at half-time to ask for more protection for our players. "As a player, I like the more physical games but some of the tackles on Saturday were dangerous and I was worried for the players' welfare. They smashed us to pieces for 90 minutes. "We have a hard run of fixtures in January though, starting with Spelthorne, so it was important to get the points at Frimley."
