THOUSANDS of pounds worth of cigarettes were stolen in a night time raid on a petrol station.
Offenders broke through the front entrance of the Texaco store on the A22 at Blindley Heath in the early hours of Wednesday morning and made off with several thousands of pounds worth of cigarettes.
Police were called at just before 1am after an alarm sounded at the location. East Surrey CID are appealing for information.
Investigating Officer PC Richard Stoneham, said: "I would ask anyone who saw something suspicious either around the time the offence was committed or the days prior to the incident which may connect to share this information with officers."
