A RENOWNED doctor from Banstead who secretly filmed patients and colleagues in hospital toilets has been jailed for five years.
Lam Yeoh, 62, of Garratts Lane, yesterday pleaded guilty to seven counts of voyeurism dating back to January 2011.
He also admitted to six counts of making indecent images of children and possessing extreme pornography.
The court heard the consultant and father-of-three "obsessively" hid cameras and collected footage of patients and staff using hospital toilets.
He then watched and edited videos at home before saving them with file names graphically describing the videos' contents.
Six children, one as young as three years old, featured in some videos.
In total, 32 victims were traced by police, yet a further 1,084 remain unidentified.
Crown prosecutor Peter Clement yesterday told Croydon Crown Court Yeoh "grossly abused" his position of trust.
He added the scale of his crimes were "beyond any encountered by the Metropolitan Police Service".
Judge Warwick McKinnon passed the sentence this morning (Wednesday). Yeoh will be on the Sex Offenders' Register for life.
