MANAGER Anthony Jupp admits he is looking forward to a break from the league when Horley Town travel to Cray Valley PM for their FA Vase second qualifying round clash on Saturday.
The Clarets go into the match on the back of a 5-1 thrashing at Windsor on Saturday, and despite heavy injuries, Jupp believes the clash is "winnable".
"Since our last FA Vase game we haven't been on a great run in the league, the 5-1 win against Guildford aside," he said.
"So it will be nice to have the Vase game as a little break from the league.
"They are in about the same place in their league as we are in ours so it is a winnable game but a lot depends on our injury situation. Last Thursday at training our physio had seven players waiting for treatment."
Similarly, Horley had a significant amount of players out for Saturday's loss at Windsor, but Jupp admits it was a bad day at the office all round.
"We had about six missing including Adam Pullin and Ben Herdman who were on a stag do," the manager explained. "We weren't good enough at the end of the day but the referee was absolutely awful. He sent Greg Haydon off, which was harsh in my opinion, but we actually played better with ten men."
