David Gold is opening the gates to his stunning gardens at his Tupwood Lane home, Caterham, to once again boost funds and awareness of the work of St Catherine's Hospice.  All the proceeds from teas and homemade cakes sold at the open events at The Chalet, Caterham on Sunday 31st March and Sunday 7th April will help bring and care and comfort to those living with a terminal illness.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy David's collection of vintage cars and his helicopter, amidst the beautiful 55 acres of garden and woodland, famous for its hundreds of daffodils.

David says, "I am delighted to show my support for my local hospice in this way and encourage others to come along and show their support too.  This is a really simple way to make a difference to St Catherine's while enjoying a day out with family and friends.  The hospice is a huge help to local people at a time when they need it most and everything they do is completely free of charge. This is my way of showing how grateful our community is for their care and to say happy birthday in their 30th year."

David will also be signing copies of his autobiography to raise funds for the hospice.

The gardens will be open between 11am and 4.30 pm. Entrance is £4 for adults and free for children and parking is available. There are also toilets and disabled access available and visitors are welcome to bring their dogs.
