A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm following a late-night incident in Merstham's Taynton Drive on Wednesday.
Police and ambulance services were called to the address shortly after 8pm and witnesses at the scene reported seeing a helicopter, two police vans, three police cars and the ambulance during the evening, with police reportedly in the area until late.
Ambulance crews treated someone at the scene but no one was taken to hospital at the time.
Today Surrey Police confirmed a 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and has been released on bail until October 16 pending further inquiries
