SINGING star Peter Andre made a special visit to a children's charity on Thursday.
The reality TV personality met children, families and staff when he toured around the facilities of the Children's Trust in Tadworth
He met pupils at the charity's on-site school and children who are receiving rehabilitation for a brain injury.
During his visit Peter was invited into a hydrotherapy session where he was introduced to Geraint Richards who sustained a brain injury from an asthma attack. The 12-year-old has been receiving a range of therapies including speech and language to develop his voice again.
The youngster even serenaded Peter with a little bit of his renowned hit, Mysterious Girl.
Peter said: "The one thing that really hit me today was how happy a place it is. The staff are full of smiles and laughter, as are the children. It's certainly a dedicated team here providing support, education, respite and rehabilitation for children. Meeting the kids and hearing about their journey of recovery was the icing on the cake.
"Today has really opened my eyes. I never knew that these amazing facilities existed. The Children's Trust is a charity to shout about."
The visit was arranged by Louise Beckley, a rehabilitation care assistant at The Children's Trust and Paul Jaconelli from Romans International in Banstead.
