MAN'S best friend was on show at Knights in Godstone.
The garden centre at Nags Hall nursery in Oxted Road hosted a day of dog shows and stalls for visitors of all ages.
Dog-lovers could showcase their pooches' talents in competitions including waggiest tail.
One of the highlights of the day was the egg and spoon race, which featured young handlers carrying an egg and spoon in one hand while trying to control their dog with the other.
One innovative racer tried holding the lead in his mouth to make it easier.
Contestants also competed for the traditional dog most like its owner prize.
Away from the arena there were ice cream and hot dog stands, stalls and a raffle. Entry on the day cost £1 and all proceeds went to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
