A MOTHER was cautioned after leaving her child in a boiling car while she shopped at Asda in Burgh Heath.
Other shoppers and passers-by raised the alarm after noticing a child alone in the car on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were called at around 9am and the youngster did not require medical attention after the event.
It is believed the mother - a woman in her 30s who was questioned by police and received a caution for willful abandonment - had gone into the store to buy baby milk.
