PUPILS at Lingfield Notre Dame Junior School have spelt it out for charity.
The school is well on its way to raising thousands of pounds for Diabetes UK thanks to a number of fundraising activities.
Angela Franklin, a teacher at the school in Racecourse Road, said: "We have had things like mufti days and making key rings, while about 250 children took part in a sponsored silence.
"Our fundraising target is £7,000, and we hope to surpass that."
She said they were inspired to raise money for Diabetes UK because two of their pupils have type 1 diabetes.
Nicola Musk, the charity's South East fundraising manager said: "We are immensely grateful to the teachers and pupils for all their fundraising efforts.
"The money will go towards research into care, cure and prevention for all types of diabetes and helping people manage their condition effectively."
