Barcelona goalkeeper Víctor Valdés is rumoured to be on his way to the Premier League, with Liverpool his likely destination.
The Nou Camp shot stopper has made no secret of his intention to leave Barcelona this summer, and it is thought Liverpool want to shore up their leaky defence by replacing the less-than sturdy Simon Mignolet.
Monaco have also expressed an interest in the keeper, but it is thought he would prefer a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Manchester City also mentioned.
"I've always identified with your football," Valdes recently told the Daily Mail.
"The way the supporters live the game and the respect they show they players.
"It [the Premier League] is one of the biggest leagues in the world, with the best clubs in the world and, without doubt, it's a very good option for me."
