SOUTH Park suffered a shock loss on Tuesday night at the hands of Epsom & Ewell.
The visitors took the lead through Carlton Murray-Price, a recent signing from landlords Chipstead, in the 29th minute with a neat finish. Epsom scored their second in the second minute of added time, again Murray-Price. Combined Counties League leaders Park are now seven points ahead of Camberley Town in second place, who were held to a 3-3 draw at Farnham Town.
Lingfield were also defeated on Tuesday, going down to 5-2 at home to St Francis Rangers despite late goals from Sam Clements and Gareth Graham.
Redhill remain in the Ryman League Division One South drop zone after they lost 4-1 to leaders Peacehaven & Telscombe at Kiln Brow. Marcus Elliott scored the Lobsters' goal.
Merstham won again on Tuesday, beating struggling Crawley Down Gatwick 3-1. The goals were scored by Tommy Hutchings, Tutu Henriques and an own goal from the Anvils' Ade Akande.
Chipstead played on Monday night, beating high-flying Hastings United 2-0 thanks to goals from Will Turl and Dan Moody.
