THE father of a 15-year-old schoolgirl missing from Dorking for nearly 24 hours has made an emotional appeal for her to get in touch.
Nicole Kenway was last seen at a doctor's appointment in South Street, Dorking, at 4pm yesterday.
Her disappearance is "totally out of character", said her frantic father Dom.
Family and friends have been desperately searching her home town.
Police this morning traced a signal from Nicole's mobile phone to a location in London, but have asked the exact location is not revealed at this time to avoid the reporting of false sightings.
Mr Kenway said: "The local search has been called off and we have sent people up to London.
"This is your worst nightmare. It is in the hands of Surrey Police and the Met Police."
Appealing directly to his daughter, he said: "We all love you, please get in touch with someone, it doesn't have to be us, it could be your friends, anyone.
"You are not in any trouble at all. We just want to know you're safe. Please get in touch."
Nicole is slim, 5 ft 3 ins, and with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a navy blue duffle coat and jeggings.
If you have seen Nicole, call Surrey Police on 101.
