Detectives are hoping someone will recognise this face as they continue their hunt for robbers responsible for a "horrific" attack in Epsom. A man in his 20s was left bruised and bloodied after the incident at around 8.20pm on Thursday, December 19. Now, police have released an e-fit of one of his attackers. The victim was walking along Chalk Lane when a man approached and asked for directions. He didn't know the route, so tried to use his phone to help. Another man then struck the victim with an object, causing him to fall. A struggle took place between the victim and the two attackers before they stole a pair of headphones and left the scene. The victim suffered bruising and cuts to his face and hands as a result of the robbery. Investigating officer Detective Constable Colin Snell, said: "I would appeal to anyone who thinks they can identify the man in the e-fit to contact officers with information as we need to find those responsible for this horrific attack." The man is described as a black man, aged in his mid-20s to early 30s, of medium build, around 5ft 5ins and clean shaven. Call Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference 45130007867 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
