TED Baker, Superdry and Victoria's Secret have opened at Gatwick Airport, as part of a £40 million regeneration.
The revamp, which also includes the first Snow+Rock in a British airport and the country's biggest Zara airport store, comes after a 2012 YouGov poll showed 56 per cent of passengers wanted more high street and international stores at Gatwick.
The ten new shops, which are in the South Terminal's departure lounge, mark the end of a multi-million pound redevelopment project which airport chiefs claim delivers a "state-of-the-art retail journey for passengers".
Spencer Sheen, head of retail at London Gatwick, said: "Our new retail space not only demonstrates our forward-thinking, but also our desire to deliver on what our passengers ask for, be it a luxury department store or a high street favourite.
"The results we have seen so far speak for themselves as more than 80 per cent of our passengers have rated as 'excellent' and 'good' the selection of retail outlets available at the airport."
Gatwick claims customer satisfaction in the choice of shops is up 20 per cent since the airport was bought by Global Infrastructure Partners in 2009.
As part of the revamp, 11 other new stores opened in the terminal last August.
Kevin Young, marketing director at Snow+Rock, the ski clothing and equipment retailer, said: "Opening our new store in Gatwick has been an exciting journey from concept through to trading."
Clothing stores Fat Face, Mango and Joules are also among the new stores.
Gavin Wood, head of expansion and development at Dixons Travel, said: "We worked in partnership with Gatwick to create a brand new store which puts customers at the centre.
"The store was designed to excite and inspire the Gatwick passenger and the feedback has been overwhelming."
A previous extension to passenger facilities at the South Terminal in 2000 cost £29.5 million and included shops, seating and restaurants.
