Crystal Palace have signed Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.
The Welsh keeper, 27, has signed a three and a half year deal and goes straight into the squad for Sunday's game at Arsenal.
Hennessey joins Palace from Wolves, where his more recent career has been wrecked by injuries - having starred in their ultimately unsuccessful battle to stay in the Premier League two years ago.
Earlier this season, Hennessey went on loan to Championship side Yeovil, in a bid to prove his fitness.
Reports had suggested Palace have paid up to £3m for the keeper but we understand the fee - which has not been disclosed - is lower than that.
Hennessey told the Palace club website: "I'm delighted to be here, I've met some of the lads and the staff already so I'm just looking forward to getting out onto the training pitch now.
"I know Danny Gabbidon well and he's been telling me what the place is all about. He said it's a fantastic club and that I should get down here so I'm over the moon it's happened."
