lots of carnivals have a queen, but this year's Oxted carnival had a princess - and an elephant, as Snow White and and Dumbo put in a guest appearance.
Thousands lined the streets to watch the Disney-themed procession wend its magical way along Oxted's roads, ending up at Master Park.
And youngsters from schools across the area joined in the fun, dressing up in a bid to win this year's trophies.
Ali Millington, from the Oxted Carnival Committee which organises the annual event, said: "It was absolutely brilliant. It all went very smoothly.
"I think my favourite float belonged to Oxted Pre-School. They all dressed up as Dalmatians from 101 Dalmatians - it was so sweet."
The parade's winners this year were St Peter's School, with their Disney float of classic characters. Limpsfield School came runner up, and pre-school winners were Oxted Pre-School with their Dalmatians.
"They all did a fantastic job and some of the children spent months creating their floats," added Ms Millington.
The incredible weather on Saturday also encouraged people to dig deep into their pockets to donate to Oxted and District Community First Responders.
Ms Millington said: "The work they do is becoming more and more important to our community.
"Ambulances have to come from further afield and to know that there is someone available to help in the area, makes you feel that little bit safer."
The committee who organise the event estimate they have raised around £2,000 for the charity group of volunteers.
The money is due to go to buying a new defibrillator.
She added: "The community definitely rallied round. Plus we managed to raise lots of money that will benefit the community even more."
