A SHINY new set of wheels is being raffled to boost a fledgling charity.

Banque PSA Finance and Peugeot have jointly donated the red Peugeot 107 to help raise funds for The Lucy Rayner Foundation.

The charity was set up in memory of the Reigate woman who took her own life in May 2012, at the age of 22. It became a fully registered charity last month.

Lucy's sister Emma said: "The last year has been amazing and our charity has had an amazing start. Lucy would be so proud of everyone's fundraising efforts."

The charity aims to raise awareness and help young adults with depression.

Emma added: "We hope to draw in as many people to back the charity and help as many people as possible."

The raffle will be drawn at a fundraising ball at the Reigate Manor Hotel, Reigate Hill, on October 12. Raffle tickets are available now for £20 each. Tickets for the dinner and dance and evening casino cost £38, or £25 for just the evening casino.

For details e-mail thelucyraynerfoundation@hotmail.co.uk

The foundation will be showing off the car and selling tickets at the Reigate Community Festival in Priory Park on June 29.
