TWO more people have been arrested after a house party turned into a 'riot' when 150 uninvited guests arrived. Officers investigating the disorder at Herons Place, Copthorne, on Saturday, had already arrested four people. Last night that total rose to six, when a 17-year-old boy from Haywards Heath and a 17-year-old boy from Burgess Hill were detained on suspicion of affray. They have been released on police bail until July 10. Several units from Surrey Police were called to the property in Herons Place at around 10pm on Saturday where around 150 people had gathered as a planned house party spiraled out of control. Officers had bottles thrown at them and several police response cars were damaged during the incident. Anyone with or mobile phone footage of this incident should contact Detective Andy Cooper at Reigate CID by calling 101 quoting reference TD/13/2714, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
