BRITAIN'S Got Talent star David Walliams has been crowned the top celebrity doting dad, beating off competition from Robbie Williams and Mo Farah.
David came out top in the voting by 2,000 British mums as the new celebrity dad they think would be the most hands-on famous father.
Former Reigate Grammar pupil David recently became dad to Alfred with supermodel wife, Lara Stone, but the nation's mums thought his warm personality, humour and success as a children's author made him a stand-out candidate.
Robbie Williams ranked second having been knocked off the top by David in the final week of the competition.
Robbie has publicly talked about his devotion to his daughter and the way fatherhood has changed him, as well as proudly sharing the first pictures of his daughter on twitter rather than a lucrative magazine shoot.
Third dad in the running was gold medal winning, Mo Farah, who shot into the public eye at least year's Olympics.
Lisa Penney, spokesmum for Bounty.com, which ran the pol, said: "We are thrilled that David has won. Famous dads are often hailed as being the nation's favourites simply because of their celebrity status and good looks – and not necessarily because of their personality or parenting skills.
"Everyday mums not doubt warm to David as he clearly doesn't take himself or his fame too seriously and along with his wife Lara, seems to have a down-to-earth, fun approach to life, managing to keep their relationship and new baby as private as possible."
