Capel Firefighters tackle blaze started by gas hob at The Street

 Firefighters used breathing apparatus while tackling a kitchen fire at a house in The Street, Capel  on Monday afternoon.
The blaze started at 2.45pm after the owner went out and left food cooking in a pan on a gas hob. 
After putting out the fire, the crew spent 45 minutes at the scene ventilating the building.
