REDHILL Football Club will be playing local rivals Merstham and Chipstead in the league next season, it has been confirmed.
The Reds' promotion to the Ryman League Division One South has been confirmed today (Friday) after the FA announced the allocation of places in Steps 1 to 4 of the non-league pyramid for the 2013/14 season.
Redhill had been hoping to be playing against their local rivals after finishing second in the Sussex County League Division One, one point behind champions Peacehaven & Telscombe, who have also been promoted to the Ryman League Division One South.
Guernsey have also been promoted to the same division having finished second in the Combined Counties League Premier Division, while Walton Casuals, who finished bottom of the Ryman League Division One South in 2012/13, have been given a reprieve.
The other newcomers to the division are Carshalton Athletic and Hastings United, who were both relegated from the Ryman League Premier Division, while Sittingbourne have moved across to the Ryman League Division One North.
