A Surrey man wanted since 2002 in connection with historic sexual offences has given himself up to authorities in China.
Neil Robinson, 47, from Staines, was wanted in connection with the distribution of indecent images of children and the rape of a child, offences which took place between 2000 and 2002.
Surrey Police appealed again for information on his whereabouts on BBC's Crimewatch in September 2012.
Mr Robinson, who had links with Surrey and Sussex but was believed to have travelled abroad, handed himself in to authorities in Beijing in the early hours yesterday, April 26.
Surrey Police is now liaising with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Chinese authorities regarding Mr Robinson's return to the UK.
