OXTED Ladies have failed in their bid to retain the Investec Women's Vase after losing out on penalty flicks in the final against Guernsey today (Saturday).
The Os drew 1-1 in normal time with the Channel Islanders at Beeston, with Amelia Lewis' opener for Oxted cancelled out by Michelle de Vial for Guernsey.
That forced the two sides to play golden goal extra time, but after that passed without any further goals, the game went to penalty flicks to decide the winners.
And unfortunately for the Surrey side, they failed to find the net with any of their flicks, with Guernsey taking the trophy courtesy of a 3-0 win.
