A FORMER Dorking resident appeared at court this morning charged with 24 sex offences and breach of bail offences.
Mervyn Rush, 67, was previously charged with a number of sex offences committed against children in Norfolk in the early 1970s.
After failing to answer crown court bail in 2000, he was arrested in France under an European arrest warrant in May 2012.
Rush was yesterday (Thursday April 25) extradited and appeared in Norwich Crown Court this morning (Friday April 26) charged with 24 sex offences and breach of bail offences.
