LEATHERHEAD moved into the play-off places in the Ryman League Division One South after a comfortable 4-0 victory at home to Crawley Down Gatwick tonight (Thursday).
The Tanners, buoyed by their 1-0 win at home to title chasing Dulwich Hamlet on Tuesday, were quick out of the blocks against the Anvils, with Tom Bradbrook netting twice in the opening five minutes of the match.
There were no further goals in the first half, but Elliott Thompson and Tommy Hutchings struck after the break to seal a 21st league win of the season for Leatherhead, which moves them into the top five, one point ahead of Ramsgate in sixth and still with a game in hand.
Richard Brady's side are next in action away at Horsham on Saturday, before travelling to face Eastbourne Town next Wednesday.
The Tanners then complete their league campaign with a home match against play-off rivals Faversham Town on Saturday, April 27.
