A TEAM of volunteers took to the streets of Dormansland to clean up the village's road signs.
On Saturday, Dormans Evening WI organised the Dormansland Spring Clean.
The WI members and their husbands got together with some Dormansland parish councillors and other volunteers to clean up the road signs around Dormansland, Felcourt and Blindley Heath.
They had noticed how dirty the signs were after a long winter and, rather than waiting for someone else to do it, decided to do it themselves.
Anne van Vliet, from Dormans Evening WI, said: "The lovely spring sunshine and appreciative encouragement from passing drivers made the work all the more enjoyable."
