THE manager of Strada has quashed rumours the restaurant is to leave Reigate centre.
Fevzi Renk, general manager at Strada in Church Street, says - far from leaving the town - the Italian eaterie is celebrating its continuing success.
He said: "It has come to our attention that last week, rumours began to circulate that Reigate Strada would be closed and replaced by a different restaurant chain.
"We'd like to take this opportunity to quash this suggestion and reassure our customers that this has never been the case.
"Just last week we launched a new offer giving customers a third off their food bill to celebrate Strada reaching 5,555,555 pizzas tossed since the first restaurant opened in the UK."
Rumours had circulated online that the restaurant was to be replaced by Japanese restaurant Wagamama.
