THE A217 is still closed at Reigate following two burst water mains last week.
The burst mains in Dovers Green Road affected the area of south Reigate and Woodhatch.
Remedial works have been completed and water supplies have been fully restored to houses and businesses but the busy arterial road is closed while work to repair the surface goes on.
The road was originally set to reopen this morning but Sutton and East Surrey Water now says they hope it will reopen tomorrow (Tuesday).
