DETECTIVES investigating an attempted robbery at a Hurst Green store have released CCTV images of a distinctive helmet which could be "vital" to their enquiries.
Three members of staff and a customer were left with minor injuries following the attempted robbery the One Stop shop in Holland Road on February 3.
The offenders left the store empty handed and officers continue to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed any part of the incident to get in touch.
East Surrey CID also want to trace a unique-looking helmet which was captured on CCTV during the raid.
Investigating Officer PC Natalie Pearce, said: "Tracing this helmet is vital to our investigation and I would urge anyone who believes they know the owner of the helmet or its whereabouts to contact Surrey Police as a matter of urgency.
