MIDFIELDER Barry Bannan is determined to win his place back in the Crystal Palace team, despite joining Bolton Wanderers on loan.
The 25-year-old has only made ten appearances for the Eagles this season, many of those coming off the bench, and he now admits he has to "do what's best for me".
Bannan joined Bolton to get game time, however he still holds out hope of becoming a mainstay in the Palace side.
"I am looking forward to going out and getting games under my belt, it will be a good challenge for me and hopefully I can do well," Bannan said.
"There have been a few managers in my time at Palace, so it's been stop-start, stop-start, so I just need to go and get some matches.
"I love the Palace fans and I will be back – hopefully to play – but I've got to do what's best for me at the minute and that's going out and getting games regularly."
