Rail chaos is faced by Redhill and Merstham commuters this morning.
A signal failure at Merstham means London-bound services are not running through Redhill, Merstham and Coulsdon South stations.
Metrobus route 100 and London bus route 405 are accepting rail operator's Southern's tickets until further notice.
One passenger Martin Loxston-Beed tweeted: "Severe disruption at Redhill today - no trains to London! Great start to the year."
