UPDATE: Video footage shows the plane came in to land and bounced before taxi-ing and coming to a halt. Emergency services are on the scene.
THE stricken Virgin Atlantic flight VS43 has touched down at Gatwick Airport.
The plane was headed for Las Vegas but was forced to turn back due to "technical issues".
It circled round the south coast while emergency services raced to the scene.
The flight now appears to have landed safely at Gatwick. There were reports its landing gear had failed.
