THE International Space Station will be zooming over the UK this evening in a perfectly-timed festive flyover.
Weather permitting, NASA's spacecraft will be visible from Surrey and according to the Met Office, will look like the bright lights of Santa's sleigh.
The ISS has such a low orbit around the Earth that it can often be seen with the naked eye throughout the year.
It looks like a fast-moving plane, but it is dozens of times higher, travelling thousands of miles an hour faster and it is bright enough to be seen from the middle of a city.
So, for some Christmas magic tonight (Wednesday), look up just after nightfall.
The best chance will be at 5.22pm for four minutes and then again at 6.58pm.
The Met Office forecasts a cold and crisp Christmas Eve night, with clear skies and just the odd patch of cloud across most of England and Wales.
